As the title said, tried bringing in the entire cast yet the first composition was way to hard to pull off so i went with the second one and a green screen.
Im not happy.
Ok im somewhat lying, im not happy with the results but im happy to have pinpointed what i want out of the digital medium. As much fun as the starting ramp is, it does not give me as much control as a regular pencil or brush is without forcing me out of the drawing state of mind in order to fiddle with the settings and tools in order to attempt to get what i want.
Also, the size, the fking size keeps getting me angry, ive realized that when i draw traditionally, i have a good scope of everything, i can lean back and see the pic as a whole without having to change tools or spend more than 5 seconds messing around - I can constantly gauge what i need to change on the fly yet with digital, i keep finding i have to waste the extra seconds to zoom in and out in order to get things properly balanced - Of course, this is why a cintiq is such a marvelous tool, as you have the size to see it all, but the damned thing is fking expensive lol
Anyway, ive noted theses down and ill work on coming up with solutions and tricks for future digital work.
